NEW STUDIO ALBUM TO BE RUSH RELEASED

To coincide with the band's Jethro Tull tribute show at The Witchwood in Ashton U Lyne, Tameside on Thursday March 9th, Cold Flame frontman Peter Cheetham is releasing a brand new solo album which was recorded in his home studio during the last twelve months.

The studio album is called 'SHINE' and contains 16 self penned acoustic numbers some of them new versions of Flame favourites with Peter playing mainly acoustic guitar and flute as well as singing. Peter descibes the material as a collection of contempory folk songs exploring human political and spiritual issues. The title track ‘Shine’ is dedicated to the memory of Iraqi hostage Ken Bigley whilst other songs explore spiritual leanings towards new age and Buddhist thinking,as well as more materialistic western values.Following the launch at The Witchwood concert next week, the album will be available at all Flame gigs priced £5 and from the website at www.coldflame.com

As an explaination of Peter's song writing creativity he cites the following ‘To follow an absolute belief in the power of the modern song in its true beauty, as musical _expression combined in poetry, integrated into a pure spiritual, emotional and human experience.’ The ebullient frontman has also designed his own website to promote the solo album and some solo gigs that he intends tpo perform later in the year.

For further current details log on to www.partmanpartbeard.co.uk A fuller run down of the album will appear on the Cold Flame website in due course.
